The IHRS Code of Ethics defines the standards of professional conduct, educational activity, and interaction with patients. The Code is intended to ensure a high level of safety, transparency, and professional responsibility in the field of surgical hair restoration in Ukraine.

Respect for the Patient

Each patient has the right to receive accurate, complete, and comprehensible information regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and prognosis. IHRS members are required to provide objective medical recommendations based solely on clinical indications and not on commercial interests. Confidentiality and protection of personal data must be strictly maintained.

Medical Integrity and Transparency

Exaggeration of results, false promises, manipulative advertising, and the creation of unrealistic expectations are strictly prohibited. All clinical decisions must be based on evidence-based protocols, international standards, and established ethical principles of medical practice. Procedure outcomes must be presented accurately, without image alteration or misleading visual representation.

Professional Competence

IHRS members commit to continuous professional development and to maintaining their level of expertise in accordance with international standards in hair restoration surgery. Participation in educational programs, workshops, and scientific conferences constitutes an essential component of professional growth. The dissemination of inaccurate information or outdated methods is strictly prohibited.

Safety as a Priority

Patient safety is the primary consideration in every clinical decision. All procedures must be performed in accordance with medical protocols, ensuring appropriate sterility standards and adequate technical preparation of the clinical team. The use of unverified methods or technologies is strictly prohibited.

Scientific Integrity

All IHRS members are required to adhere to the principles of evidence-based medicine. Research conducted under the auspices of the Institute must comply with international standards, avoid conflicts of interest, and ensure objectivity of data.

Professional Partnership and Mutual Respect

IHRS members are expected to support one another, contribute to the development of the professional community, and share knowledge. Unethical competition, professional disparagement, or manipulative conduct toward colleagues is strictly prohibited. The shared objective is the advancement of surgical hair restoration in Ukraine.
